I am licensed in the state of Tennessee, Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and am also a member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP). As I seek to always improve and perfect- ongoing education is a must.
My inspiration is the health and well-being of others and the connection between mind and body. My approach is gentle and focused, adapting to the client’s needs and preferences; from light to firm pressure, from specific pain relief to general relaxation. I help clients build and understand body awareness, stress reduction, and active self-care so they can maximize the benefits of massage after each session.
Massage has been my call of duty for over 9 years now where I have worked in various recognized spas before venturing into my solo private practice. I am a graduate of the COMTA accredited, Lakeside School of Massage Therapy, Milwaukee, Wisconsin (now Herzing University, Brookfield, WI) and am duly licensed both in the state of Tennessee and board certified through NCBTMB. I have also gained invaluable experience growing up playing a variety of sports and working as a Certified Nursing Assistant where I cared for individuals with varied needs, enhancing my awareness of each client’s unique circumstance.
To facilitate optimal care in improving the well-being of others, I live a balanced lifestyle by eating healthily, staying active, and maintaining a positive attitude. My detailed work integrates Swedish massage, neuromuscular work, trigger point therapy, myofascial work, stretching, and other modalities. Check them out under the "Services" tab to the left to learn more about some of the various modalities I use in my work.
